Sunny Tuesday to Give Way to Rain Across Finland on Wednesday

Finland is set for a relatively bright and dry Tuesday, but the weather is expected to turn wetter as a rain system moves across the country on Wednesday.

Tuesday will bring sunny and partly sunny conditions to many parts of Finland, with daytime temperatures generally around 14°C. However, clear skies overnight could bring frost in parts of central and northern Finland, creating a risk of slippery roads early in the morning.

The weather will change on Wednesday, when cloud cover and rain are expected to spread across much of the country. Temperatures will remain relatively mild for mid-September, with highs of around 13°C in many areas.

The Finnish Meteorological Institute’s latest forecast also shows a wetter pattern developing after Tuesday, with further showers possible later in the week.

Forecasters are therefore expecting a brief spell of brighter weather on Tuesday before autumn-like conditions return with rain on Wednesday.
